For 50 years, the Sisters of Mercy have been an active shareholder in companies, raising issues of concern with companies in their investment portfolio. Since 2010, Mercy Investment Services has continued this ministry, actively using our voice to encourage the companies in which we invest to make changes that benefit people, communities and our common home. Through dialogues with companies and shareholder resolutions, we bring issues to the attention of companies to ensure that they consider the impact of their business policies and practices. Currently, Mercy Investment Services is engaging companies through 187 engagements.
