National Catholic Reporter highlights impact investing by women religious

Mercy Partnership Fund, the community investing program of Mercy Investment Services, recently invested in Vita Green Impact Fund, which provides fuel-efficient cook stoves, water point repairs to access clean water and community reforestation programs in rural African communities in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Vita’s numerous faith-based supporters have included the Sisters of Mercy of the Northern Ireland Province, Western Province, the Sisters of Mercy Union (U.K.), the Sisters of Mercy Congregation in Ireland and the Sisters of Mercy in Newfoundland, Canada.
