Mercy walks with those in need

September 24 holds special significance for the Sisters of Mercy. Known as Mercy Day, it commemorates when Catherine McAuley first opened the doors of the House of Mercy on Baggot Street in Dublin, Ireland. Every year, the Institute shares reflections from partners in Mercy throughout the Institute around a central theme. This year’s theme, Walking with Mercy, highlights the many ways Sisters and ministries walk with others, especially those on the margins, in a spirit of encuentro. Bryan Pini, president of Mercy Investment Services, shared a reflection on how Mercy Investment Services walks with those in need and corporations through socially responsible investing. Read Bryan’s reflection and others’ reflections in celebration of Mercy Day.
