Mercy Investment Services welcomes two new social responsibility team members

Mercy Investment Services is pleased to welcome two new employees to our social responsibility team.

Russell Beckham, impact and loan administration analyst for Mercy Partnership Fund, recently completed his master’s of social work degree, with a concentration in domestic and social economic development, at Washington University in St. Louis, where he also earned a bachelor’s degree in urban studies. Russell’s experience includes several social justice internships and fellowships including with the Gephardt Institute for Civic Engagement, Park Central Development, the Missouri Budget Project, and Forward Through Ferguson.

Maxwell Homans, shareholder advocacy associate, is a recent graduate of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, completing a bachelor’s degree in economics and classical studies. He has completed several internships in the socially responsible investing field, including at Ceres and Friends Fiduciary Corporation.  Maxwell’s economics honors thesis focused on corporate governance policies for increasing emissions reductions.
