In 2018, Mercy Partnership Fund investee ECLOF International, through its Kenyan affiliate, began purchasing milk produced by local dairy farmers and bringing together farmers to share resources. Today, ECLOF Kenya is expanding dairy farmers’ ability to produce food and increase their income through an innovative approach to dairy farming.

ECLOF’s work in Kenya allows farmers to have a more stable income, providing loans to more than 2,200 dairy farmers in Kenya. Farmers have used these loans to purchase additional cows or to make necessary updates to their farms. Farmers also receive support ranging from technical assistance and education on managing a business to building support networks with other farmers.
